Ford Excursion Grille
Yearly production of Ford Excursion grilles launches various styles and improvements.
In 1999, the heavy-gauge Stainless Steel grille inserts became a hot look. It
is easy to install and needs no cutting, drilling or removal of any component.
Some grills of this type have additional features that protect it from scratches
and provide excellent resistance to corrosion such as protective edgings and mirror
finish.
In 2002, some companies such as the Street Scene Equipment produced uniquely
styled grilles as inspired by European racing designs. Their products were made
from a 5052-grade aluminum, in a standard anodized satin finish that can be repainted
to suit the vehicle's color. However their grilles required cutting. To retain
the classic look, chrome grill didn't go out of fashion. Heavy-duty steel uprights
with rubber extrusions, cross tubes, steel tubing hood guard and cross bars for
added strength and stability are the improved features of this type.
